Lost Tooth

A couple months ago I noticed that Kailtin had cut her permanent front tooth behind her baby tooth that had not fallen out yet. We went to the dentist and they told us that the baby tooth showed no signs of falling out ever!! She was having work done on one of her back teeth, so while her mouth was numb they pulled it out. She was excited to have finally lost a tooth. Last night she said, "I'm so lucky that I'm the first one in the family that gets to be visited by the tooth fairy!"

Even though she technically didn't lose a tooth, the tooth fairy still came and left her one dollar. She can't wait to go to Target after school to get a Mad Libs book. Her best friend Zoe came over last Friday with one and she has talked non-stop about it! (I had to refresh my own memory on what a verb, adjective, pro-noun, etc. were to even play it) =)

I felt so bad for her after we left the dentist yesterday. Her whole side was pretty swollen and numb. You can't tell that well, but she could hardly give me a smile. Poor thing, it's still swollen today. Her second permanent tooth is already growing behind the baby one, but that one should fall out by itself. She has been cursed with my slow to fall out teeth. I didn't lose my two front teeth till 4th grade!! Crazy, I know.

That is so crazy! Ryleigh's bottom tooth grew in the exact same way. We were calling her shark mouth because she was growing two separate rows of teeth. By the way, how is the potty training going? OH, and thank you so much for the happy birthday. That was very sweet of you. We really should get the girls together one of these days.
