Rub a Dub Dub....

.... Gavin is big enough for the kitchen sink tub!! Gavin is now pretty good at sitting up on his own, so he has advanced to the kitchen sink for bathtime. He was having a blast tonight splashing all over. I could hardly get a decent picture of him, because he was just watching the water go everywhere, and would not look at me!! My baby is just growing up way too fast!!

Our New Home

Well it is time to move on. We are excited about our new place, and the kids are excited to be in Dan & Lydia's ward (Jared's brother) so they can be with their cousins, and that they have such a big back yard to play in. Sometimes in life it is hard to make those big decisions for fear that it may not be the right one; however with this one everything fell into place and we just knew it was right. In fact we were a little bummed out because the kids new school did not have a pre-school for Jayden in the past and we needed to transfer Kaitlin to their first grade, when we called they told us that there was one spot left in first grade and that on September 15 they start pre-school for the first time, it happened at the perfect time!
Also Nana & Papa are excited to have us closer, and we know Grandma Janis is sad we are leaving her ward and have been so close to her for the last seven years, we love you Mom! Well I have been floating on cloud nine this week in excitement. Here is to the next steps in this life.

Also here are some pictures and details of the new place.
5 Bedrooms/3.5 Baths
18,000 sq. ft. lot
Surrounded by thirty year old redwoods.
Master suite has jacuzzi tub and fireplace

Sleepy Baby!!

Gavin is on his third day of soothing himself to sleep and it is going amazing!! Jayden and Logan from 4 months on were able to be layed in their beds for naps and bedtime and put themselves to sleep without a fuss. It was so nice!! Gavin has been the total opposite. He is 6 months old and is still wanting to nurse to go to bed and he almost always will wake up the second he leaves my arms and is in his bed. With the other kids needing my attention that was getting really hard. A couple days ago I layed him in his bed when I knew he was tired, instead of nursing him to sleep to see what he would do. He fussed for about a minute and was out!! He has done that since for all naps and bedtime! It has been heaven!! I'm crossing my fingers he keeps it up!!
P.S. This is far from an exciting post, but I it's an accomplishment for me! I thought is was definitely blogworthy!!!
