Gavin is on his third day of soothing himself to sleep and it is going amazing!! Jayden and Logan from 4 months on were able to be layed in their beds for naps and bedtime and put themselves to sleep without a fuss. It was so nice!! Gavin has been the total opposite. He is 6 months old and is still wanting to nurse to go to bed and he almost always will wake up the second he leaves my arms and is in his bed. With the other kids needing my attention that was getting really hard. A couple days ago I layed him in his bed when I knew he was tired, instead of nursing him to sleep to see what he would do. He fussed for about a minute and was out!! He has done that since for all naps and bedtime! It has been heaven!! I'm crossing my fingers he keeps it up!! P.S. This is far from an exciting post, but I it's an accomplishment for me! I thought is was definitely blogworthy!!!

I think that is a MAJOR accomplishment. I have been thinking about the sleeping thing, or lack of sleeping, with getting a new baby, and we were so lucky with Alex, he was pretty much sleeping through the night and getting himself to sleep from 3 months on, and I just hope and pray our new little one will be the same way! Good for you!

Definately blog worthy. That is my favorite thing about Peyton, she never fuses when she goes down, as soon as she is tired, all she wants is to be layed in her crib. It will make life so much easier for you. Congrats!
