Kaitlin has been asking about getting her ears pierced for a couple months and on Saturday for her birthday Aunt D took her to get them done. I had prepped her ahead of time telling her that it will hurt a little, but it's done very quick. I thought that she would decide against getting them done when we got there, but she was very brave.
Aunt D and Kaitlin before the big event
Being really, really brave! =)
She did start to cry a bit when I had to touch them so the lady could show me how to clean them. What a sad face!
She was very happy though when she saw her newly pierced ears in the mirror! Then she was off to look at all the earrings that they had in the store to make a list of all the ones she wanted when she can change them in 6 weeks! =)

How fun, and what cute faces. I remember getting my ears pierced for my 4th birthday and I felt like such a big girl. She looks very cute.
Oh I love it! What a fun birthday =)
What a FUN birthday! Girls and earrings, they go hand-in-hand!
I love, love the pictures! Kaitlin is growing up so fast! :) She is a beautiful girl!

I think we should go shopping for some earrings!

How cute and I think very brave !! What a great Aunt !! I want to be an aunt like that !!
We had to chase Hill all around the store to do the second ear !! It was very funny, the girl did them one ear at a time, so wrong !!
Your pierced earrings are beautiful Kaitlin!
Have her ask Grandma Janis what happened to her when she got her ears pierced. That's why I've never had the nerve to get mine done! Way to go, Kaitlin!!!
Those are so cute. Ry got the same earrings when we pierced hers. She showed them to me at church last Sunday and I thought it was so adorable how excited she was. She is so beautiful!!
