Gavin Thomas Seamons

Gavin Thomas Seamons came into the world at 1:59 am on March 17, 2008. He weighed in at a whooping 9 lbs. 11 oz. My contractions started around 5:15 on Sunday morning, but were very irregular and quite painless. We went to church and then later in the evening had dinner with my family. Around 9:30, after a blessing from Jared, Josh and Mike, the contractions started coming every 5 minutes. Jared and I left for the hospital and I was checked in around 11:30 pm. Soon after I got an epidural (heaven on earth) and had my water broken. Things moved fast from there and he was born kicking and screaming.
Gavin's birth will always hold a special place in my heart, because it was experienced with a wonderful husband, my Mom, and sister Michelle. I'm so glad that he waited to enter this world until the people that I love dearly could be there to share this miracle with me. Thank you Jared, Mom and Michelle. I love you!!
Thanks to my wonderful Mother and Father in law I have yet to experience life as a mother to four small children! They have been very kind to let me rest and recover! Thank you.
Gavin joins a family that loves him very much, and are so excited to see what the future holds for us all.

Bri,
Miche and I have absolutely loved being here this past week! I know that being present for Gavin's birth was such a special experience for Michelle. She will honestly treasure it forever!
You really are such a wonderful mom. Michelle looks up to you and deeply respects you in so many different ways. Thank you for being such a good person, a good mom, and a good sister. We love you and Jared so much and really value your guys' friendship.
The only negative part of our trip has been the fact that Ellie really does now want a baby brother. She even said that she wants one like Gavin! Time will only tell...One thing is for sure, Gavin is going to be a Gryffindor just like Logan!!!
